Whilst studying Printed Textiles at Birmingham Uni back in 2004, I fell in love with the idea of printing onto anyting to make something old, look new and vibrant again! It wasnt until I printed onto my first black T-shirt whilst experimenting that I realised that this was something I had to do which was set up my own label. My passion for printing began that day. I rushed home and wrote down loads of names for my new business idea! As many of you may well know, that when you’re trying to think of a name or an idea, it just dosn’t come to you that easily and it didnt!! I wanted a name for my label that would mean the word ‘everything’, as in I can have any design on my garmets so I wasn’t just focusing on one style. I wanted my prints to be diverse and as random as I like. The idea for Kit n Kaboodle came from the help of a friend, Jarv (thanks Jarv). Whilst talking on the phone to him, I was looking in the thesaurus for the meaning of the word ‘everything’ and it came up with, everything but the kitchen sink, full monty, nine yards, shebang and the whole kit and caboodle. Brilliant, thats it!

Kit n Kaboodle Clothing was born.. this means that anything and everything goes!
Portfolio:

In 2004 I worked out in Ibiza. I sold my T-shirts in cafe Mambos in Ibiza and also customised T-shirts for people who worked there too.

I had my own rail in Ashido Clothing in Birmingham, formally known as Acid Test and also Psyclone Clothing in Birmingham.
I printed T-shirts for Radius bar and club where my prints were recognised by Mick Dunn, the Director of All saints Clothing. That gave my confidence a massive boost and made me want to get Kit n Kaboodle up and running properly as a small business.

Whist travelling in 2004/2005, I brought T-shirts and customised them and sold them to other travellers and sold T-shirts on a market stall at a Cuban festival in New Zealand whilst Briony played on the decks!

I have made a hoodies for Dizzy Rascal, DJ Filthy Rich and Dubstep DJ’s Skreme and Distinction, from Dubpolice. I also designed 100 exclusive hoodies for Metropolis Drum and Bass night in Leeds…

With all my experience and passion for fashion, my aim is to make Kit n Kaboodle to become an unique and individual brand that will be reconised by people who appreciate what my brand is about!!

Ordering and delivery process for individual hoodies and other apparel.

Once you have approved your design with us and you are happy we will get it made up and sent to you recorded delivery via the lovely and occasionally reliable Royal Mail! We will also give you an approximate date as to when your hoody or T-shirt will be ready.
We will always keep you informed of delays (if any) and how you order is coming along. As soon as your order is complete we will dispatch straight away and you can expect to receive it within 1-2 days. We send all our orders recorded delivery so they do not get lost in the post!
For postage costs please see postage section.

Returns Policy for individual hoodies and other apparel.

Each garment is made to your requirements, so you will have to approve the design, sign and send the disclaimer form back (via email). We will only accept returns for a very good reason, for example if the item is faulty in some way.
We will NOT accept returns for the following reasons:
1. You didn’t read the wash care instructions properly and now it’s shrunk!
2. The dog tried to eat it!
3. Your mum put the darks in with the light wash and now it’s a funny colour!
4. You decide you don’t like it

We will know if you are lying!

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order as long as your garment has not been made or is in production. You will also loose your deposit if the garment has been bought ready to be customised.

Data Protection

This basically means we will not pass your details onto anyone else, unless the police ask for them, in which case we cannot do anything about that, sorry!
We will automatically add you to our mailing list once you have ordered from us, this will allow us to send you information about the latest KnK goings on, offers and anything we think will be of interest to you.
If you do not wish to receive any emails from us then just send a nice email asking us to remove you from the mailing list and we shall do so.

Wash care instructions

We recommend that you hand wash hoodies and T-shirts inside out and also to remove the laces of a hoody if they are lighter than the hoody itself, to avoid dying. Each garment has been made by hand and may have delicate detailing which would be affected by an 1800rpm spin washing machine. That’s a lot of getting bashed around in the machine for these lovely one-off garments.
If however you cannot be arsed to hand wash, make sure you put them on a 30 degrees wash inside out!
Just to confirm – WE ARE ADVISING YOU NOT TO MACHINE WASH THE GARMENTS, DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LAZINESS OF NOT HAND WASHING AND YOUR GARMENT GETTING WRECKED!

Benefits of hand washing:

1. It will keep your one-off individual hoody or T-shirt looking newer for longer
2. Delicate stitching and other details are less likely to be affected
3. Modern detergents can be very abrasive and may fade a metallic screen-printed image, so by hand washing, the sparkle will last for longer!

Ironing your garment:

You can iron your garments on a medium iron. Prints can be ironed on too unless advised otherwise by myself. For example, if I have used a plastsol ink, this CAN NOT be ironed on, but I will tell you this when you place your order.
